Small Faces

In Trainspotting territory with the occasional nice moment (eg. when Lex first arrives by bus in Tongland) but directorially more conservative story of working class Glasgow youth gangs - this time in the 60s. The story meanders and is fairly long-winded and except for the music the 60's look is only partially achieved (hairstyles are particularly inconsistent). Iain Robertson who plays the difficult youngster, Lex, is very good. BH
