Thomas Crown Affair, The (1968)

The eponymous mega-rich but bored businessman Thomas Crown (Steve McQueen) pulls off an impeccable bank robbery which sets insurance investigator and major fashion-victim Vicki Anderson (Faye Dunaway) on his tail in this likeable enough caper/romance movie .

More style than substance, despite an entertaining cat-and-mouse plot, the film will appeal principally to aficionados of late 60s chic (including the use of multi-screen photography and a groovy pop soundtrack featuring the Oscar-winning hit, "The Windmills Of Your Mind".

FYI: The film was remade in 1999 with Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo in the leads.
