Dawn Of The Dead

As far as horror goes, Dawn of the Dead is rightly regarded as a masterpiece by critics and audiences alike, its one of the quintessential horror films of the 70s and as such should be seen by any fan of the genre.

DVD Extras: Umbrella Entertainment's 3 disc "Ultimate Edition" , an updating of its original release is literally awesome. There are three versione of the film. The original theatrical release comes with an excellent commentary with Romero, Tom Savini and Assistant Director, Chris Romero and a separate, commentary by producer Richard Rubenstein. This disc features The Dead Will Walk, a documentary featuring interviews with Romero and many of the cast and crew. There is an extended version with a commentary by Rubenstein moderated by Perry Martin and a Document of The Dead documentary and a 50m interview with Argento shot at the 2008 Melbourne Film Festival, whilst on the 3rd disc which has the Dario Argento cut of the film is yet another commentary by David Emge, Ken Foree, Scott H..Reiniger and Gaylen Ross.  A photo gallery, the US and German trailers, a collection of radio spots and the usual filmographies complete the disc.
