Casino Royale (1967)

Don't fooled by the terrific cast, including William Holden, Orson Welles, Peter Sellers, David Niven, Charles Boyer et. al, or the fact that Woody Allen is credited with hte script or John Huston (amongst others) with directing this spoof of a Bond movie. It is a dog's dinner of lame jokes and unfunny sight gags tickled up with the aid of some groovy threads and swinging tunes from Burt Bacharach. It is typical of the 1960s' penchant for this kind of fare and fans of such should check out Clive Donner''s and Richard Talmadge's What's New Pussycat (1965), the latter also penned by Allen.
