Mrs Brown
To what extent the story of this British costume drama about the relationship between Queen Victoria and what today might be called a personal trainer, John Brown, has a historical basis I don't know but its a tastefully-made revel in the life of the court at the time (the 1860s) with Judi Dench excelling as the monarch-in-mourning, well-backed up by Geoffrey Palmer and Anthony Sher and even Billy Connelly, the Scottish Robin Williams, is pretty good as the Highland icebreaker.
